• Convictions not expected

From Mike Powell@1:2320/105 to AARON THOMAS on Tue May 20 08:59:00 2025
Don't expect a conviction (or at least not a serious one) in the Sean "Diddy" Combs trial. Justin Timberlake already showed us what to expect from celebrities on trial in New York City when he walked away from a DWI arrest like it was a parking ticket.

A DWI and sex trafficing are two different leagues.

The left controls court judges. Trump's presidency has taught us that much.

I suspect it won't matter in this case. If they have the goods, he will
    get convicted.

Maybe. But even with a conviction, let's expect something like a $10,000 fine and 30 days of house arrest or probation.

This guy is friends with Obama, and if that's not enough protection, he's got a net worth of $1 billion dollars, which is more than enough to pay entire juries.

I don't wish prison on him. I don't know if he's even guilty of anything. I'm just pessimistic about celebrities and/or well-connected people facing justice.

My thinking is that they tend to get more "strict" with celebrities, even
well connected ones, when the crimes are against women.

From what I understand it's federal charges, so I'm left wondering if his case will be heard by the same judge who ordered the illegal immigrant plane to be brought back to the USA. If he gets that judge (Merchan) then his fate will be determined by an Obama-loyalist.
