If they don't trust the Federal government's opinion, that's something that can be understandable, however, what it comes down to, is their distrust of the federal government isn't representative of the rest of New York. That's been obvious for quite some time. The lefties are using COVID as
an excuse to supress anything that they don't like. They do that by keeping people fearful. That's why they supressed all those doctors publically
stating that COVID isn't as deadly as hyped - not even close to the hype.

Keep in mind that we already have a flu vaccine, but it has limited effeciveness
and not many people use it. The COVID vaccine is no different and probably worse since the flu vaccine has been out for a while and we know what the
side effects are.

The CDC isn't Trump's CDC. That's a joke. Also, the CDC will never play a role in the vaccine. It's just the FDA - no president, no congress, just that department.

When I hear Andrew Cuomo saying "I won't let NYers have the vaccine until our state verifies the safety," I consider that politicizing the vaccine, and I also consider that to be a sleazy way for Democrat Andrew Cuomo to weaken us more and to cause more deaths. He doesn't want a vaccine to sound good until it's time for his re-election (2023.) Watch the little guy act like he engineered it himself.

When I hear Trump saying "A vaccine is coming soon," I consider those to be words of comfort for the American citizens. It's optimism. I would hate to have Obama right now, saying stuff like "More people will die, we don't expect a vaccine soon, everything is NOT gonna be ok." We are very fortunate to have a president with such optimism. Positive thinking is a valuable tool.
