wishful thinking on your part. They might stay segregated because of economic circumstances. They may well want to escape the segregated
area where they are, and some do. Where I live is a good example of how that can work. My city has a complete mix of many races living
peacefully together, side by side.

Wrong
According to http://www.city-data.com/city/Columbia-Maryland.html\
Whites make up 44.7 % and blacks make up 28.6 %
As far as blacks being held back due to being segregated, or any
other downtrodden nonsense.
Anyone of any race can make it in America, if they are determined.

No -- correct, and you post the statistic that confirms that my city has
a complete mix of many races. They do live together, peacefully, side
by side.
According to http://www.city-data.com/city/Columbia-Maryland.html\ Whites make up 44.7 % and blacks make up 28.6 %
The rest of that stat is Asian 12.2%, Hispanic 7.3%, multi racial 5.1%, native American 0.9% and other races 1.2%. As I said, a mix of races
with Whites in the minority (but the largest percentage, i.e. purality).

In many parts of the country black and brown people are severely discriminated against both socially and economically. That is not the
way it should be, but that is not the case in my city.

So the places where they are severely discriminated against as you
have suggested, are these Democratic run Administrations?
New York City is some Republican? Where? So the places where they are severely discriminated against as you have suggested, are these Democratic run Administrations?
Some are, some are not. New York City has had both Republican and Democratic leaders.
Obama was raised white. Being half and half was an exploitation device for AT>him. There's no such thing as "understanding black people." Thanks for AT>reminding us how racist he is.
Black folks should be rewarded for everything they have done for this country. From the moment they arrived on our shores.
Or, if you want to hand out free money to everyone with black skin, then I AT>can foresee the good in that too; the USA will overcrowd with black people AT>seeking money-for-nuthin. Africa will probably lose 90% of its AT>inhabitants, but I bet I'll sell my house for about 4x the price I paid AT>for it. Then I can move to Sudan, or the Congo, where the government is AT>less oppressive towards ethnic groups.

If a democrat gets in the White House along with a completely democrat Congress, reparations will become a strong issue (the thought of `free
money'
is ALWAYS a strong issue for democrats....AND their voters).
If any such bill is passed and a democrat president signs it....look for a cottage industry of `ancestry-search' groups to spring up almost over
night,
to search out a black client's connection to slavery in the early and mid 18th
and 19th centuries.....and just how much `reparation' they are owed (for a nominal fee, of course)!

Of the last four mayors of NYC in the past 30 years, two were Democrats and two were Republican. Dems were De Blasio (current) and Dickens(1990-1993). Repub were Bloomberg (2002-2013) and Giuliani (1994-2001).

In the last Presidential Race 2016 nearly every single county outside
of NYC voted Republican, NYC voted Democrat. NY was rendered blue.
You could put NYC in Upstate nearly 3 times.
New York City is very Democratic and the infection that is
the Democratic Party

You are deflecting from commenting on the topic at hand -- which was mayors of NYC.
