Plain and simple: because German media have no relevance at all within
your elections. It is not even true they infiltrated BBC and Telemundo however on could believe they have a slight lefty bias (however, there are worse media).

They are not "trash talking Trump", they are referencing evidence and -
once in a while this happens - if he ever says anything true, they report this as well.

As an American you should actually be used to national leaders not controlling the media. Inface you are claiming that one political party controls all the media in the world. How likely is that?
