Fix up UTF-8 support enough so Keyop can enter a œ.

This removes the -utf8 option and stores the line strings as unicode
strings if the terminal supports utf8.

A shitty inkey() wrapper and a shitty putc() wrapper were added to
deal with this.

utf-8 at start.

This may be the issue Keyop was seeing.
