The new version of iPadOS 13.1 was released today on September 24, 2019. I think it was overhyped for what they said about it. 1.48 gb update and expected a whole lot more. Only a few noticeable options.

It seems iOS (at least for the iPhone) now has a swipe keyboard feature (similar to what Android has had for a long time now). I'm curious if they have that for iPad now too. With that feature, you should be able to type words by swiping your finger over (or near) the keys on the virtual keyboard to spell a word rather than tapping each key individually.

I don't own any Apple devices myself, but my wife has an iPhone. She installed an update on it yesterday and noted some new things, but also that they also seem to mess up a few things that she has to fix after installing an update.
