  • Ocho Minutos, my apocalyptic tale, gets published!

    Hello, BBSers!

    I managed to get Ocho Minutos, an apocalyptic science-fiction story, published under commission for Metal Obscura, a Metal Magazine.

    Long story short: the editor contacted me and asked me if I had something that fit their subject matter. They want flash fiction about what happens when the Sun goes off.

    I think the end result is quite cool. This story makes for a great addition to The Worth of Immortality.

    No, it took many days.

    A lot of people gets surprised by the time it takes to write a story 600 words long, but fact is it is very hard to encapsulate something meaningful in such a small wordcount. The proces involves creating many pieces and then discarding them, and when you come up with something you like, you give it to profreaders, who will pour all their hate on your baby until you shred the draft and start working in another one.
