    Do any of you, maybe you Canadian dudes, know who's responsible for Charisma BBS software?

    I tried to register it with a legit check from my bank back in about 1994,
    only to have the check never cashed, and no reply from the author.

    That software was cool, even though presumably a TG hack. There's a fake cracked copy floating around; it don't work - it's not cracked for real.

    ...it would be like crack to me if someone could crack it though! For anyone who has software to do something like that, or some skill, let me know if you can take a crack at Charisma sometime! I'll run my BBS on it if you can crack it.

    I have never heard of it but we do have one or two die hard DOS guys here in SciNet, they might know more.

    I remember playing with it back in the day but it's been ages. I could have sworn my copy was legitimately cracked though. How is the unregistered
    version crippled, out of curiosity? Man, now I want to revisit it...

    It has a "Unregistered - Please Register" message that can't be removed.

    That piece of shit really did have some charisma. The stock color scheme is nice, and the ansi palm trees were a nice touch.
