Has anyone tried rpix86, which is a dos emulator for the raspberry pi
    to get dos doors working?

It has support for emulated com ports, like dosemu, which should allow
for fossil drivers to be used and it also has scripting support which
has been extensively used with the retropie project.

I'm going to install it tonight on my pi and see how far I can push it.

No, but I had it on my list to try out.

Be interested to hear how you go with it...

I have been in touch with the author years ago and at first he thought it
might be interesting but immediately abandoned the idea. I can't remember
why. I believe the details are on the /r/bbs subreddit somewhere.

I've got it installed and running. Now I need to install something like
Mystic or Synchronet on my pi. Seeing as Diskshop is running Mystic
maybe I will give Synchronet a go.

I tried it a few months ago, looks fine, but the performance at least in the first versions was under Qemu's.

I'm going to give it another oportunity, thanks for the reminder ! xD

I agree, at least on a Pi3. I have tested both on a Pi4 and the
    difference is barely noticeable.

I'm also really looking forward to a new build of RetroPie for the Pi4,
better PSOne emulation and possibly working Dreamcast and Saturn
    emulation.

And while playing Crash Bandicot you can use your Pi4 as a fusion reactor
with a little amount of Deuterium and a magnet to manage the plasma around
    it. xD

RetroPie and the Pi4 could be a win-win combination.

Why not? Video games and Plasma creation. Two birds with one stone.

Maybe you should use a bunch of Pi4's for your La Liga cluster, lol.
