• User Login Issue

    Greets...

I've just noticed that my BBS members are unable to logon to the board.

The BBS hasn't been too public facing so no activity and no one to
complain. I found the issue ealier today while using test accounts.

I have validated test accounts that are being denied logon with the below message:

"Sorry, your account has not been validated".

Not sure what I've missed something. The accounts I'm using are validated. I'm also noticing that after the login if denied, the users daily allowed time is always reduced to 30 minutes remaining.

I'm currently running a47 but verified that this was also an issue with
    a46.

Anyone have an idea what I've futzed up?

Did you set the different levels in level editor?

I remember my 'validated' accounts could't get logged in because they had 'no time available today'... I hadn't setup the different acs levels for users, so Mystic was giving them 0 minutes per day.

Sounds like that, but if I send you the wrong way - sorry. :P

No... not it. THi is something that has worked before. I have several
levels defined. None work and at this point, the only users who have
access are those at security level of 255.

Are you using the Matrix login?

If you are using Matrix login, then the user must meet the requirements of the "Matrix ACS" setting in your Login/Matrix Settings.

If they do not then they will get that message.

    Yup...!

For some reason I had it in my head that this setting wasn't used if the password was left blank. Security level adjusted, issue eliminated :)

If they do not then they will get that message.

That's exactly what they got. Thx again!
