Is there a way to make sure the user input goes in the area I have in my menus? I may have been doing it wrong, but I was using X/Y MCI CODES for my prompt, to put the cursor up in the correct area on my menu ANSI.

No problem, and no need to rush anything, rockstar. I'm happy to be on the bleeding edge but didn't realize a47 was a prealpha that would need rebuilds as you work on it. Do you announce the new prealpha versions here or do I just need to keep checking?

Another quick question... Using the TELNET IT command with the newish /ESC bit to make sure Ctrl-] works for users:

When I add it to an IT menu command, Mystic doesnt even try to connect to that telnet host... it just like; presses enter (no info on screen.) Without /ESC Mystic telnets right out to the /addr. I am *not* using /user or /pass because the host is just a StarWars Movie. (blinkenlights.nl) ...

Mystic may need all three to work? /addr /pass /user and /ETC? Anyway, IF it could work with only /addr and /ETC that would help this one sysOp. :P

I read in the whatsnet, that /ESC makes Ctrl-] work for sure, which for this 20 minute long ascii movie would be perfect. Thats why its currently connected to a YNInput, to warn the user of a long telnet time.

I just tried using the /ESC switch in the data line here and I am getting the same as you, it just doesn't even try to connect. If I drop the /ESC it works just fine.

It was never a big deal, I just cron'd an rsync job - however I recently added some 50gb of files - and, lol, I'm recopying all of them with each rsync. So... I gotta figure out a different backup software, that just does the changes/new files.

I'll get that new a47 build put up, tho... tomorrow. After I had a backup thats less than 24 hours old.

So, are you telling me that if I just leave the damn thing in ~/backups/mystic and run Rsync again, it will only copy changes/new files? Because now I feel like a real dummy. I've been saving 2... 3... more? Copies of mystic with different dates on them.

SMH... I always make things so hard on myself, when the Linux answer is right there in front of my face... of course it works that way. Why I wouldn't have thought this, or even maybe read a webpage [Dunno if the how it works is in the man page.] about how rsync works is beyond me. At any rate, LOL - I'm off to test this before I update to the newest a47 on my BBS box.

Just so you know, g00r00 has posted the newest build of a47 on the /downloads/prealpha directory as of.... 11-23 or 11-24; so we, Pi Mystic users, have access to the very currect a47 build. g00r00 says he will try to release those Pi builds if he knows there are users rocking the prealpha who need or want the new features as they come.

So, we have the most current build. As new ones come out, if theres a feature we want just post to g00r00 here and he will release it for the Pi.

Most of the time yes. Not always though. Occasionally when bigger changes happen you may need to do some other stuff that will be mentioned in the WHATSNEW and usually the upgrade instructions if I don't forget.

Most of the time yes. Not always though. Occasionally when bigger changeshappen you may need to do some other stuff that will be mentioned in theWHATSNEW and usually the upgrade instructions if I don't forget.

Got it - check the WHATSNEW, if it was an important build then hopefully g00r00 wrote it. :P

Understood... with all these backups, its kinda fun to break a sweat by breaking something, anyway... break, sweat for a minute, fix it; but you didn't, restore the backup and realize it wasn't broken in the 1st.
