Something strange is happening here...and I don't think it has to do with Mystic :) Do you have antivirus, antimalware, etc., running?

You may be right... You may notice my origin line has changed to 64bit windows.. Windows kept telling me there was a malicious file in Mystic I
kept quarantining it without success I washed the whole directory then it
said something was wrong with window32 directory so I just said screw it and dumped the whole computer and reloaded it.. I will in just a minute or two
have better protection than windows defender

    Regards,

Agreed I had the same trouble myself with my Mystic board. I had to exclude
the scanner from looking at that file.

Have not had any trouble after that!

If I may make a suggestion, Windows Defender is pretty great and adding anything else in my opinion has diminishing returns, and all it really does
    it complicate things.

They all rely on the same data for detection. You may quickly find yourself
in the same situation if you add more antivirus programs.

I'd just add a directory exclusion for your BBS dir.

I think these things are related :)

Whitelist the mystic dir in defender, and then whitelist the mis application
    as well.

Windows Defender is also written by Microsoft to work with Windows, and doesn't need hackish techniques to be able to do its thing. Third party scanners don't have the same advantage.

That's all I use, other than Malwarebytes to manually scan for malware.

Well, viruses are kind of on everyone's mind, but that one can't be stopped by Defender. ;)
