Hey all. Setting up GD on Linux, and everything appears to work--except for
the initial Login and Instructions ANSIs. It looks like an extra line break after each line... Anyone ever encountered this? All the text is jagged
    across the screen....

Sounds like something "fixed" the line endings in the ANSI files. Try
running unix2dos on the ansi files, (You'll need to use the -f option as
it will probably complain it's a binary file).
