    **Spoiler Warning**

Anyone have thoughts on this first episode? The Verge keeps calling it a "space western" which I guess applies, but I think Firefly fits that bill much more closely. I think Mandalorian is very much a sci-fi / Star Wars series. At least so far.

I'm really enjoying the small encapsulated stories so far. I love how it shows how the "little people" exist in a day-to-day world, dealing with the problems that are important to them, rather then all the Empire drama.

I did find it interesting that he's making no effort at all to hide "The Child" anymore. Broadcasting to any and all that he's got him. I guess by now it would be generally known but still, having him in the saddle bag, or taking him into the fight seems to be advertising his existance quite a bit.
