    The filebase stuff came in before i had reconfigured my mutil mailin.ini.
    Now the files are just stuck sitting in my echomail/in folder and don't seem
    to want to process.

    Sounds good, I have the pack and just got home from the airport. Hopefully I'll get these hooked up tonight, if not I'll definitely be setting them up tomorrow.

    Each file should have a matching .tic. In some occasions, you'll be missing it and the file will just sit there.

    Some manual work will be needed otherwise it may break subsequent inbounds since they will be renamed file.1.xyz to avoid overwriting.

    arrive in the same order and replies can be many messages down. I don't know how many times I have replied to people only to see something different or the same 4 messages downstream.

    Yeah, if last read pointer would be per message, I would most certainly read them in reverse just to avoid that. Since I never know if I'll be able to get thru them all, I take the chance to reply and see it's a duplicate
    (or inaccurate answer) later on as I read thru the rest.

    In that case, looks like you got priv intel in netmail :)
