I would like to get started in this.
So, I will be reading what I can in the files included and get them installed and ready to go. Hopefully, this weekend there will be a new House of Domination to face (haha - doubtful).

Another option would be BBSLink (bbslink.net) or Door Party (http://wiki.throwbackbbs.com/doku.php) where you're connecting to another system and playing door games with others from your own system.

This is the method I settled on as I find it more fun playing door games when others are also playing. Of course no reason you couldn't have them all setup...

True - I am running BBSLink now.
Basically, I just wanted to add more to my BBS. But I think you are right, I think I may just call it all stop on adding doors to my system and
concentrate on getting the game servers working.
I am currently having issues:
DOORPARTY - has errors on launch - I think he maybe down.
EXODUS - Looks like he is connecting - but it kind of the same thing - but no errors.
So: I have BBSLink, CombatNet, BCRGames...looking for more all the time.

Not that I'm aware of; seems like there have been people on and off all day.

I don't know if he's updated his instructions yet, but there is a newer/better version of DoorParty Connector that you should use if you aren't already:
