From PalKat@77:1/143 to All on Tue Sep 15 10:15:52 2020
For those using or dabbling with Image BBS v.20, I wanted let you know that
we put together a how-to/configuration video with X-Tec. Via a remote
session X-Tec demonstrated how to configure SUBS and U/D sections along with reviewing other tools in Image BBS v2.0.

There will be a couple of updates coming in the next couple of months, first and foremost will be the update to Image BBS v3.0 a same but totally new program, started back in the late 90's but never finished, and an update to
the v2.0 BBS On a stick to allow for high speeds.. In addition to both of
those releases there will also be a BBS on a stick for v3.0..

Yes, it is still being developed, by myself and another programmer. Back in 2015 I found a alpha version of the software v2.0 backup disks (which I was
one of the final programmers of) and sent them to a programmer who
worked with me back in the 90's on the support group NISSA because I was
moving and getting rid of all of my Commodore hardware. He took that software and fixed it and got it stable and we released it in 2018. Then we undertook
a completely broken version which was going to be 2.0 that hadn't been worked on since about 1997, a complete re-write of the alpha version I had, and we
or I should say he fixed everything and now we have a viable product that
will be released in the next several weeks as v3.0. So after my very long run on sentence, Image BBS for the C64 is still in development and with todays available Commodore hardware makes for a very fast system.

Wow. I ran Image 1.3 in 1990. I'd love to check out your new version but I haven't seen or touched a C64 since then. That's something else. I had no
    idea. ;-)

Well, when we release 3.0, I will releasing what I called BBS on a Stick back in 2018 when we released 2.0, except this time it will not run from anything you will copy it to your PC HD, click the runme.bat and it will boot into a full blown Emulated Lt Kernal HD BBS setup, that runs at 38.4k and has a
300meg HD on it. Look for it in the coming weeks.. :) Most likely will be hatched on fsxNet..
