• Acquired some Trinitron PVMs

    Hello you!

Long time no see, I keep to myself/busy way more than I should, but just
wanted to share in the most appropriate group I could think of.

I volunteer a lot of my time at my local Professional Wrestling company, OVW (Ohio Valley Wrestling) and over the past month they were doing a huge tear down and revamp of their arena and had a pallet of old sound boards and other electronics they let me take home.

Through a lot of cleaning and testing I've come out so far with 3 3"
Trinitron PVM's, 1 5" Trinitron PVM and another 5" "Super Fine Pitch"
Trinitron from 1988. There's also a couple DVCPRO cassette player/recorders
in the group as well but media for those is a little hard to come by.

Since cleaning and testing (and recapping 2 of) these PVM's, I've had my original NES and Playstation hooked and have been wandering down memory lane so much lately and it's been a blast.

They apparently haven't used any of these since around 2005 and they had just been sitting on a shelf in their locker room ever since. Now to find a VCR
and some old wrestling tapes from back in my trading days and relieve the
glory of some old fashioned wrasslin' on the same kind of monitors that used
to be in the announce desks at the bigger promotions.

    Hi, Tsali.

Through a lot of cleaning and testing I've come out so far with 3 3" Trinitron PVM's, 1 5" Trinitron PVM and another 5" "Super Fine Pitch" Trinitron from 1988.

Ooh, they sound nice. At that size they're probably just about still a 1-man lift :)

Since cleaning and testing (and recapping 2 of) these PVM's, I've had my original NES and Playstation hooked and have been wandering down memory lane so much lately and it's been a blast.

A fantastic use for them. Possibly a little small for Duck Hunt but I'm sure the games look great on baby Trinitrons.
