• I could never afford a Cyber supercomputer...

DtCyber is a high fidelity simulator of Control Data 6000, 70, 170, and 700, series supercomputers.

The first computer I used in college was a Cyber 170, I ran Pascal code on it, and later used an app called Primix that gave it a UNIX shell environment for classwork - because the school didn't have any UNIX systems back then!

It works pretty well, too! I've got NOS 2.8.7 running
connected to my local ham radio network. It's kind of
nifty to be able to call it over AX.25.

We've lost a number of interesting and innovative
systems, and we've lost the perspective that they
    brought. It's a real shame.

This is way before my computing times, but it was interesting to see those early UNIXes and other terminal based OSes/technologies.

Thanks for the link. I'm particularly interested in Plato now, which is shown as one of the examples in the nostalgic computing center that git hub refers too.

Some wise elders on some podcast said, this was first MMO gaming platform for many students in 60s and 70s.. I wish I could understand more on some emulator how could that be.

... Xerox Alto was the thing. Anything after we use is just a copy.
