Howdy, this is a test message - your screen is not broken.

For our first test, this is a really long line: 0123456789ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ#0123456789ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ#01234

    56789ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ#0123456789ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ#0123456789

    ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ#0123456789ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ#0123456789ABCDE

    FGHIJKLMNOPQRS

Its made up of 8 blocks of 37 chars - so its 296 chars in length.

The reason for this test is to make sure that the hubs can correctly process a larger mail, without it being truncated or modified along the way. After all we

know that you want your message presented as it left your BBS :)

Just for completion, here is that long line again: 0123456789ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ#0123456789ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ#01234

    56789ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ#0123456789ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ#0123456789

    ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ#0123456789ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ#0123456789ABCDE

    FGHIJKLMNOPQRS

    This concludes the test :)

My editor does a bad job of quoting this but it looks like it was truncated after the S. I suspect it was longer to begin with but I don't see it here.

OK so still issues right? Should the last line have ended at Z?

Thanks for this, I'll have a different version to test tomorrow.

    Best, Paul

For our first test, this is a really long line:

    TUVWXYZ#01234

Its made up of 8 blocks of 37 chars - so its 296 chars in length.

Why are there whitespaces at position 80, 160 and 240?

I don't think there was any whitespaces in the original. I think it was a long line that got truncated.

I don't have the original .pkt to look at but that's my best guess.

I'm getting my mails directly from alterego. No Mystic / Mutil involved there. It didn't get truncated, it was a 299 character long line with only one CR at the end. I checked it with Golded in hex mode.

Why are there whitespaces at position 80, 160 and 240?

It could be how it was pasted in (to Syncterm).

I can post it again using iterm and see how it goes - but I'm playing with Hub 3, so I'll do that after I've done that...

    It appears so.

Yes, this is our test text - so the loooong lines should have ended on "XYZ#".

Thanks for this, I'll have a different version to test tomorrow.
