Having an issue with the latest upgrade to A47. My ANSI editor is not showing the proper columns. Is there a way to install new then bring over the data from the old install? Messages, files, users etc.?? Any info would be appreciated...

Disregard this message.. I FINALLY figured out my issue.. Turns out if you are running Windows, with "node windows" configured. It opens a dos box when someone logs on. It is default to 130x30, changing that to 80x24 fixes my MRC screen issue... It now shows correctly.. Still have to figure out the InterBBS One Liner issue, but at least the major problem is fixed.. I think it is time to move my system over to Linux.. LOL

Yup.. Considering moving over to Linux with the board now.. I am getting to the point with Windows where I am really getting annoyed more and
more with it...

For some things its great - games and... stuff. But for most of the computing that I do, Linux serves me much better and allows me to understand and BUILD things my way.

That's pretty much what I have been doing with most of my machines, putting them together MY way now.. I have my Image BBS running in a Linux system running Vice. Works great, If a nightly is trash (currently the latest nightlies are trash for RS232) I have gone back to an older Nightly that works.. My VM machine has a Ubuntu base which runs KVM which has 4 VM's currently running 3 Windows (Mystic, my Synchro board, My Door server) and a Enigma Instance in Ubuntu. Once I get Mystic going well in Ubuntu I will swap out the Windows version with the Ubuntu version.. Eventually, I intend to get my Door Server over to Ubuntu also since I Really don't need a front end on that and it can run in the background with no issues... That is where I stand...

I use TCPSER, with Vice Nightly R40835, I send NO init strings via TCPSER, so my startup script for TCPSER looks like tcpser -s38400 -p3000 -v25238 -l 4

That's it, Image 3.0 runs great in Vice, I currently run it on my Main system with CMD HD/Ramlink/SCPU emulation and on my 2 NISSA Net Hubs with Lt Kernal emulation.. If you need help with it let me know..
