./mutil -run LinkMessages

Will do the trick, but you'll want to run this semi-regularly. I have LinkMessages set to in my mailin.ini file

Hmm, did you answer "yes" to the "update last read pointer for all
bases" or something similar (don't remember the exact wording)?

Otherwise, try changing your scanned bases (Z) and selecting all, then
set the newscan date, then change back the newscan base setting to the bases you want, and see if it updates the newscan date correctly then...

tell it to do all other bases as well. I just tried selecting all bases (they were already selected) with no change.

Hmm, are you running the LinkMessages task with mutil?
That one is required for the "threading" to work, I think.

Another thing I noticed, is like this thread for example. If I load my origional message that was sent, the ']' option doesn't forward to your reply.
