I'm on Mystic a47, so I read in the a46 whatsnew.txt that there is now an option '/ESC' that can be added to telnet, rlogin or SSH connections to allow the Ctrl-] function to actually work to exit out of a telnet...
I run the StarWars ASCII Movie as a TELNET out; so I have a menu command:
IR, with DATA:'/addr=the.address' ... I changed that to
'/addr=the.address /ESC' but with the /ESC added, it won't even try the telnet out. It just quickly fails - well I wouldn't even say fails, because nothing happens. It's just like the user pressed enter. No
output from Mystic at all.
I'm not running a pre-ahpha at this time but I did check the
whatsnew.txt andcan see this is *not* in A46 but rather has been added
as developmentcontinues with A47

+ Because allowing a CTRL+] escape character may interfere with
transfers during a bridged connection (ie, a file may have the escape character in it which could end the session when it attempts to send over the bridge), all outbound telnet, rlogin, and SSH connections
will require the /ESC option in the command data for the escape
sequence to be active.

I have not played with this command but checking the wiki reveals it needs/addr /user and /pass options to be included for it to work. Are
you usingthem all?
Do you agree that; maybe I need the newest build of a47? And... since
I'm not calling /user or /pass that maybe thats why the /ESC part isn't active?
it could be either option. You could update and try again but reading the notes on that menu command it looks like you must pass all those
switches forit to work irrespective of the ESC one.

The user and password are not required, just the /addr=, I use it on my board. Have sort of a favorite BBS menu, works fine.
