I have a Pi box with a AMP cap linked to my NAS which plays music when I am at home, but I cannot find a decent MP3/Flac player for the Android phone

I use vlc on my phone. I use it also in the car to listen to stuff I
have on the phone.

I find it works well for me. It plays MP3/OGG/FLAC without issues. I
can't control the play order from the car though, I have set vlc on my phone to play random tracks.
When I first tried that out it sounded like someone dropped my master blaster in the pool.. or something. So I changed vlc's output mode (on
the phone) and now it sounds great.

I don't know offhand if it does FLAC since all of my music is in MP3,
but Musicolet is a very nice player which I use frequently. It works
on degoogled devices as well.
