I only heard about them from someone who mentioned it in
another net echo. I watched a trailer and another vid from the
producer featuring a commentary of his favourite songs.

From the sound of some some tunes, I can hear resemblances to
Pet Shop Boys and Fra Lippo Lippi, as examples.

I haven't researched anything on Sparks, but if they didn't
have any North American radio hits, that might explain why I
never heard of them.

They are a couple of strange brothers.

They had a few hits but I mostly remember there 80's songs "I Predict" and "Cool Places with Jane Weidlin of the Go-Go's" check out youtube for the videos.
