• Git repository down?

From lemonlime@21:4/162 to All on Wed Oct 23 21:43:54 2019
    Hi All,

Looking to try out Magicka but hit a roadblock during deployment. Looks like git.magickabbs.com isn't resolving to an IP:

    # git clone git://git.magickabbs.com/MagickaBBS
    Cloning into 'MagickaBBS'...
fatal: unable to look up git.magickabbs.com (port 9418) (Name or service not known)

Also, just another question - what would be best practice for a deployment location? Should I install in a non-priv user home directory or some other location?

    Cheers,
    Mike

    I use gitlab.com/magickabbs/MagickaBBS I believe.... (I'm like 97% sure
that is the correct one LOL Apam will pipe up I'm sure if I'm wrong.)

I use a normal user account. (Just my own shawn account)

Yeah I moved stuff to gitlab, https://gitlab.com/magickabbs/MagickaBBS

Yeah that would be the recommended way to go. I'm kind of lazy and do
what Shawn does, but it should really be on a locked down account.

Awesome, thanks! I'll give that repo a try :)

Thanks Andrew - yeah, I created a locked down account when I configured
mystic before so I'll give it a try the same way.
