    Hi apam,

Another change in BBS behaviour I'd like to see is to be able to select
areas to subscribe/unsubscribe to in one place. Currently, as far as I
can tell, you need to go into each group and select your subscriptions separately, which is OK for online viewing, but is a lot more fiddly for configuring Bluewave packets. What would work better is when you
subscribe, you ver a list of groups, and can then choose a group,
configure that group and then back out and move to the next group. I
find the current method of doing it from the message menu a little
    counter intuitive.

Also, it would be nice to have user selectable subscription defaults for
new areas (i.e. users can select whether to set the default for new areas subscribed or unsubscribed). I've been caught out when adding new areas, forgetting to subscribe to them. :)

An interesting idea, one I thought of doing was merging the select area /conference with the subscription, so say enter would select the area,
pressing 's' would subscribe to it.

It's probably not ideal at present, as you say you have to change
conference for each area, I think the default menu has '}' to change to
the next conference bypassing the list.

I will look at this soon, I plan on adding an 'offline mail' menu when I
    finish qwk support.

    That's an interesting idea.

Yeah the "conference" terminology I find confusing, because in some contexts, a conference is a single area, which puts Magicka out of step a bit.

It's probably not ideal at present, as you say you have to change conference for each area, I think the default menu has '}' to change to the next conference bypassing the list.

That does work, but then you don't really know what's there when you use that.

Yeah, it would fit in an offline menu. :)

Yeah, I don't know if there's a BBS package that has that one. :)
