Sorry about the telegram spam any one on the Magicka Update Channel...
I've finally got what I was working on working.

There is a new utility for people who host subs, and those who want to
find them. To use it you will need to:

git pull
git submodule update

cd MagickaBBS/utils/mnet
make

That will update your utilites to the latest.

Then you need to add a couple of lines to your config file..

QUERYFILE /home/someone/MagickaBBS/mnet/queryfile.txt
QUERYRESULTFILE /home/someone/MagickaBBS/mnet/qresults

The QUERYFILE is a file for sub hosts, and contains lines for each sub
they host, in the format:

SUBNO,Description of Sub

There is a new utility called mnetquery which is invoked like so:

./mnetquery mnet.cfg 1

where 1 is the node no of the host you want to query. It will send a
query message, and assuming the host is uptodate and has a query file, it
will send you the contents of that file back. MNETTOSS will put the
contents in a file called QUERYRESULTFILE-node-NODENO

If you don't update, or don't run a sub or whatever it will just drop the message and the queryer will get no response.

I plan on running querys to each node once a week and posting the results
on the phonebook sub, though those who host subs are free to post there
too when they like.

If for whatever reason you want your sub hidden, just don't list it in
the query file :)

NOTE FOR PAUL: Don't use the binaries in the mnet distribution, you need
a special one :) If you don't want to upgrade that's fine, if you do I'll
send you an updated binary after we test it a little :)
