• Feature Request

From vorlon@21:1/195.1 to apam on Thu Sep 3 17:22:11 2020
    Hi Apam,

    got a feature request.

When doing a list of messages, can messages addressed to the loged in
user by highlited in some way to make finding them easy.

Perhaps have the background colour for that message be light blue or
    green?

I have no clue what's going on with Magicka BBS, but...

    got a feature request.

...Apam has previously mentioned GitHub as being the best place for such things, as then he's reminded of it when he's in the mode of coding on whichever project.

    So take a look at

    https://gitlab.com/groups/magickabbs/-/issues

    And open an issue.

(Obviously, Apam can suggest whatever he wants to; I don't mean to step on
any toes, or suggest the wrong thing.)

    Hey Apam and all,

I know I can set the option in settings to view the kludge lines. That's globally and for everything, instead could the option be like in ezycom
where you could just select a button to view them when reading the
    message?

    Thanks,
    Shawn

I would have liked to do that, and I cant remember why i didnt, I think it had to do with how I displayed the message.

    I'll have a look when I get a chance

I just uploaded v0.48, this should do what you want.

Press 'k' while viewing a message. This will show the kludges even if you don't have it switched on in settings.

You're welcome! I don't know why I didn't just do it that way to begin with :)

Just so you had extra work to do later on. :)

Since the whole lack of tables around here I've been using the desktop
computer and I don't have Multimail installed. I will probably just
stick with using the BBS from now on and just use offline mail when I'm
    in the woods.
