I did a git pull earlier today. Everything seems OK, except that any
posts I have made in a QWK networked area which were still present on
the system regurgitated to Dovenet for some reason. If you are a
member you may notice a bunch of old BBS ad posts in the DoveNet ads
area from me. I did not make any changes to my dovenet.ini file or
my qwk networking setup, just the git pull, make clean, and make www.

Also, still ran into the issue where git pull claimed I had changed a
couple of files. This time they were in the dist and the src folder,
and, as one was the make file for sunos, I am pretty sure I did not
change them. :) I removed them both and git pull ran fine.

What do you mean by "still present on the system"? I guess you mean
still in the JAM base after packing it?

I haven't changed anything in the qwkscan utility for some time, so the
only thing I can think of at present is something untoggled the SENT
    flag.

    OK.

Yes, I think. The example area, Dovenet BBS ads, is not that big so I
don't think I have ever deleted messages from it or packed it. So,
basically, it would have been correct for me to say "any messages that have been posted in a QWK networked area since I added QWK networking were
re-sent to Dovenet for some reason." I only noticed it because they
all showed up as new on my synchronet system later in the day.

I did not run anything unusual on that machine over the weekend, just the
usual exporting and importing of mail. Only thing unusual was the
recompile. If the recompile was happening while a mail event took place,
could that cause an issue? I don't know that one did but, as cron runs
those, I might not have noticed.

Ok. I guess most of the were filtered out as dupes, as I can't find them
on vert or castle rock, although there is one recently posted ad that
looks out of place (Play MagiSlots dated earlier than the other messages
    it is near).

No, it shouldn't matter. I guess it's something to keep an eye on.

That would be one of them. I called them dupes but maybe a more accurate description would be "old messages." A possibility is that I thought they
went out to Dovenet when I posted them when they really just finally did. :)

Well, lets hope that was the case :)

I certainly don't want to be responsible for dupe floods so will keep an
    eye on things.
