Well, the gateway is almost wotking. I can get Blackhole to read the packets destined for its point addresses and generate the gated packets, but I've hit a snag in that SBBSecho complains about an incorrect pkt termination and refuses to toss them. :/

Either I have to convince SBBSecho to toss them, or I need to find a PKT fix utility.

    Hello Vk3jed,

Either I have to convince SBBSecho to toss them, or I need to find a
    PKT fix utility.

That's a bugger. Technically a .pkt is supposed to end with two trailing nulls and I bet there is only one. Mystic was doing this at odd times when folks rescanned messages (not sure if it still is) and Nelgin posted a fix. Maybe someone has it or remembers it?

    Ttyl :-),

Well, I had an inspiration last night, and this morning, I moved my gateway from Synchronet to Mystic, and it is now working perfectly with Mystic. :)

    FSX_HAM and VK_HAMNET are now linked. :)

Now back to the technical (radio) projects.

Well, Mystic is more tolerant, and it seems to toss the offending .PKTs fine. I'm now seeing if the messages are propagating across both networks. :)
