Boonville has a very photogenic courthouse. IIRC, I think it was built
    in 1904 or thereabouts.

Yes I LOVE Boonville's original downtown and how active it still is. Most old towns in Indiana are very depressed such as Gaston, or Anderson. Boonville had a much different vibe. Our youngest son got car sick literally 25 miles before reaching his grandpas house so we had to stop at the Walmart in Boonville to get him a new shirt and pants. I had always only ever hit the old general store and antique stores in Boonville, I had no clue it even had a Walmart or had recalled seeing that side of town. It was nice to see a smaller town more in a growth spurt than one of decline.

The trip to Fort Wayne, Indiana was necessary, had to go to Sears to buy some clothes for Me.
Forgot to pack My clothes in the car on our trip to Huntington Indiana, Huntington is South-West of Fort Wayne, off I-69.

Ed thats hilarious! I used to travel for work during my corporate years and once had forgotten my dress shoes. I had to wear a pair of nike running shoes with a suit (back when that was a no no) in front of a group of several hundred people to do an orientation introducing all of the principles of the company. Every single one of them looked down at my feet and then up at my eyes with a smirk trying not to laugh. Needless to say, by lunch I had a pair brand new and very uncomfortable Johnson and Murphey shoes from Macy's on.

Maybe because it is a little bit smaller than some of the others?

I probably drove right past the Walmart and didn't notice it, either. ;)
