• Hot sauce

I went to a mexican food joint near my workplace on my way home and they skimped on the hot sauce. Even if they said 25 cents each I would of likely done that. It killed my first impression.

You think you have it bad. My wife and I are from Southern California. We grew up eating Mexican food and whenever we really needed a fix, we would head down to Mexico (just 1.5 hours away) and enjoy. After moving to Colorado in 1999, we have yet to experience real Mexican food. There's been a few good attempts at it, but those restaurants don't survive here because Coloradans don't like flavor, they like spice.

Hell, one place over here uses Cheese Whiz.
