After an absence due to a server crash and... life... gOLD mINE door server is back up, at a new location. I'm still running through the setup, as I had to rebuild from the ground up, so some door games may not be functional (MBBS games in particular, but also TW2002). I should have all games operational by end of week.

I'm working on a new BBS, so fsxNet, other echonets, discord, etc. are the best ways to reach me if you have any questions or issues.

As a reminder, gOLD mINE is a 100% open door server. There is no sign up, you just follow the instructions at goldminebbs.com and connect. There are quite a few great door servers out there, so no real reason to use this unless you just want more options.

Hi Bucko, are you passing what the server expects in the password postion? E.g. for mystic its:

addr=143.198.58.73 user=[TAG]@USER@ pass=WHATEVER term=xtrn=WORDLE

the server (sync) expects them from rlogin in that order.

I see your user in the system, and there is password, but not sure if that was the once you sent, or sync created it because it was missing -- which means you would get that pw challenge when loggin in.

I deleted the user if you want to try again. Can chat on discord as well!

Not using the term=xtrn flag as I just bop into the menu. It worked the first time upon signup, then after that it didn't. I will change out what I had for pass and try again...

Ok - I've pulled the msg down and assume I'll need to change the server infoz... no time is better than now, I'm gonna go try and find what I need to update on 2oFB - thanks for the infoz Alpha!!

Nice! Totally forgot I needed to add * to the passwordless rlogin config.

Pretty sure I've got all the games (125) working. I added an example .sh file for connection from WWIV, could be adapted to others, at goldminebbs.com

Today I'm going to set up a Windows server to pass off connections for games that only run reliably under Win32, as well as MBBS game using MBBSEmu.
