• Darkrealms maintenance - urgent

From Nick Andre@1:229/426 to All on Wed Mar 31 02:18:55 2021
    Everyone,

Darkrealms / ZC1 operations and the mail Hub must be taken off-line as of March 31st 8pm EST for maintenance - moving the entire virtual machine from
    one datastore to another.

Estimated downtime may be 4 to 5 hours. When the system resumes operation,
all mail operations and nodelist generation will catch-up normally.

I should be doing a lot of things... now that spring is here, a road trip sounds interesting.

Just had one of those, Dallas to Mount Rushmore. While I was there drove to Wyoming for a steak then up to Montana to say I've been to Monana. Had a good time, would have been snowed in if I taken the car rather than van. It was an enjoyable time.

I aim to do all 50 states. Going well, just got NV, UT, CO, ID, WI, MN, MI,
IN, and OH to go other than the 2 distant ones. Oh I forgot about KY. Google Maps says I can get to Fulton, KY in 9 hours, but I think I'll wait until I have a reason to go.

    Where are you thinking of?

It is a bucket-list thing for me to do the road trip across the 'states.
Start off in New york city and end up somewhere in California at the end of it all with my luck.

Since I'm a Canuck that means whatever is cheap... but I've already lived and travelled all over Canada.

Unfortunately with the way the world is heading with Covid it may be awhile before international travel will ever be on the horizon for me anytime soon.

I've been to every province except Newfoundland at this point. I'd like to make it back out that way and cross that one off my list.

You ever been up to the territories? I'm not a big fan of snow or blackflies and from what I understand, those are their only two seasons up there.

    Jay

... It was such a lovely day, I thought it was a pity to get up.

I've never been to Newfoundland or the territories either. Would love to go even if the latter is nothing but tundra-country.

I've thought about that. I can work from "home" which basically means, if I have a signal, I can work there. I could drive a bunch of hours, setup and
work 4 hours, move on, work 4 more hours...

Same here. I've been fortunate to have mostly-remote work even before Covid.
