The earlier work-around is now replaced by a general fix, in master.
**What changed**
A translated Quit word no longer disables, or is disabled by, a command that starts with the same letter. Each prompt works out its Quit key from its own command keys:
1. the first letter of the Quit word, if no other command of that prompt uses it
2. otherwise `Q`
3. otherwise no Quit letter at all, and the prompt is left with Ctrl-C (or Enter where the prompt accepts it)
The prompt shows the key it accepts. When that is not the word's first letter, the key is displayed in front of the word, e.g. `(Q)Salir`, and `@QUITCHAR@` in a menu file shows the same key.
This applies to the file transfer protocol prompts, the file list prompts, the new-scan pointer prompts, the "Do you mean this user?" prompt, the message vote prompt, and the stock JavaScript menus (QWK, private message, instant message, batch transfer, text sections, auto-message).
**For the QWK menu in Spanish**
The stock Spanish Quit word is "Salir" again, as suggested here. `S` quits, and the other QWK commands use D, C, A, E and P (Descargar, Cargar, Ajustar, Elegir, Punteros), so nothing collides.
**For script authors**
A script that combines its own command keys with the Quit key sets the new `console.cmd_keys` property to those keys before displaying its prompt; `console.quit_key` then returns the key to accept (an empty string when there is none).

This needs a build from current master to try. Reports from Spanish-speaking users are welcome, and so are corrections to the stock Spanish, French and German translations, which now cover many more words.
