It's a lesson for Putin. In hindsight, he would have been better off declaring victory when things went terribly wrong around Kiev, Kharkov, and Kherson. Only Putin made the mistake of deploying his troops on the ground. As long as the US doesn't make that mistake, they can quickly exit any war.

As soon as US troops enter Iran, they will still lose the war.
