The US wants to see the social media posts of everyone who comes to the US from the last five years. Being unkind to their beloved divine leader is considered sacrilege, and you're barred from entering the country. Tourists will stay away... That orange snowflake baboon, to me, represents everything that is undemocratic and simply disgusting.

CBP was trying to charge an incoming person for wiping their phone
while in line at customs. Not sure what they can charge them with,
except to create a nuisance, missed flight, inconvenient requirement to
    appear.

I could imagine scheduling a court appearance, refusing the defendant
entry into the US, then judging by default and issuing a warrant.

I'm waiting for AI to be able to make a social media profile on Facebook
and Twitter than have nothing to do with me.

    Dystopian times, these...

Civil rights lawsuit waiting to happen.

    1) Regardless of your legal status in the US, you are still protected by the 4th and 5th amendment protection while on US soil. So, unless the Supreme Court backtracks on decades of precedence the US better be prepared to open the purse strings AGAIN....

    a. I can see them trying to file charges for obstruction, destruction of evidence, etc... However both "should" fail due to ICE/CBP not having a legal right to such "evidence"..

    2) This is an accident waiting to happen, even if SCOTUS opens the door to allow this, ICE/CBP has the tendency to cast such a wide net that they are rounding up both immigrants with legal status and citizens. It is just a matter of time before they make a mistake and again the pruse strings will be open.

I don't know any citizens nor any legal residents who have been rounded up.

    What are their names?
