JD Vance was on Fox & Friends this morning talking about the shutdown. He pointed a few things out that I didn't realize:

* Senate Democrats did this under the guise of "healthcare coverage for illegals is on the table."

* Healthcare coverage for illegals is not on the table and there are still several months ahead for lawmakers to do something about it if they "care so much."

* The TSA and the military are not being paid during this shutdown.

Here's what I make of it:

TSA workers are already irritable and bitchy and now we're pouring salt on them.

We rely on the military to keep us safe, but now we're demanding that they do it while deployed far awy from home and while their families are without money.

Great job Democrats.

Maybe they will quit to. They are useless.
