    OK,

I got it to take my typing in "unzip $DOWNFILE" to pass the packer stage.

    Now it crashes.

Can I run ./configure or rebuild it? I think I put my point address
somewhere is should not have been

    Excellent! :)

    Now it crashes.

Can you be a bit more specific please.

    Where/when does it crash?
Did you notice any error messages anywhere?
What were you doing immediately before the crash?
Are you able to reproduce the crash?

If you're able to reproduce the crash, can you post the steps needed to reproduce it.

Can I run ./configure or rebuild it?

No need for such dramatic action.

I think I put my point address somewhere is should not have been

When I open the program it goes through the packer (unzip $Downfile.)

    Where/when does it crash?

When I press N follows by S a white box flashes and then the program exits.

Wish I could find a log.

Did you notice any error messages anywhere?
After staring at the screen and hitting S I see a white box and once I saw "open channel" in the box.

What were you doing immediately before the crash?

    Pressing S for Single call.

Are you able to reproduce the crash?

    Yes.

If you're able to reproduce the crash, can you post the steps needed to reproduce it.

    Have a look at this:

    ~/.openxp/debuglog.txt

This can grow quite BIG during a session but it gets overwritten after
every start of OpenXP. In light of this, the best course of action would
be to start OpenXP, do a Netcall/Single straight away and then exit OpenXP immediately. Copy the new debuglog.txt(before it gets overwritten at the
next start) and then take a look to see if you can spot anything that
    might give us a clue.

The OS was wiped and I am starting fresh. I know two major points to fix.

I will follow you April 29 instructions.
