The longest lasting was Frank ("Yeessssssss") Nelson who played all sorts of characters. And Mel Blanc who did the same.

The deal with Mel Blanc (Si, Sue, Cy, So, etc.) and Jack Benny was
    classic.

No matter how many times that skit was done Jack would break up. And Mel remained stone faced. :)
I knew a guy, long gone, who was a double for Blanc. Could've been
    brothers.
He was long time photographer on the local rag. He started as a Army photographer in North Africa and with the Army up through Italy and to the camps in Germany.
He said all the death and carnage he had seen up to that point was
nothing compared to the camps the Army liberated.

Another time, Mel was doing "the electronic organ" with his hands, and
the other sound effects. The audience was roaring in non-stop laughter,
and Jack's lips were quivering, as he fought for all he was worth to keep
from laughing. I saw that one on YouTube a long time ago, but can't find
    it.

Lately, on YouTube, I've been watching a few videos from Operation
Lifesaver Canada, showing the folly for trying to beat a train to a
railroad crossing, going around the gate, not looking both ways before
    crossing the tracks, etc.

However, more of the "watching" has been soldiers coming back to
their families after deployment (for the holidays or permanently),
or to their girlfriends, to propose to them. Even though I have no
plans to remarry, just watching that, it's so precious, and you end
    up bawling.

I knew a guy, long gone, who was a double for Blanc. Could've been brothers.

Wow. Some other YouTube videos I saw were:

    1) Southwest Airlines Flight Attendants safety speeches. Two of them
were before takeoff, and one was after landing...the latter one had the employee doing Looney Tunes characters.

    2) At a wedding reception, the best man was making comments, and he incorporated Looney Tunes characters into it.

In all cases, everyone was roaring in laughter...and it was all CLEAN.

I've seen a lot of static security camera videos of people doing things
    like that.
I put more trust in static cameras rather than someone just "happening"
to have a phone recording something. I think a whole lot of those are
    planned.

Whenever I see newsreel film of soldiers from WWII (and others) and see
the sea of faces I wonder how many of them made it home safe.
Films were Marines and others about to storm a beach, or marching off to battle, etc.

Sort of wanting to make it look like they can get into a lawsuit to win. Then, the "McDonald's Hot Coffee In The Lap" comes to mind. :P

Likely far less than anyone wanted. :(

That's what duct tape is for. It can't fix stupid, but it masks the noise.
