    I dropped Doc a note a few minutes ago inquiring about this.
    It wasn't much more. Just that the information was new to the other editors to check for anything we missed or not clear.
    I recall back in J school and writing a story for whatever reason a particular word was used over and over.
    After a while it looked like that word was misspelled and had to check
    the dictionary. :)

    FWIW: when i see the chop, it isn't from quoted material... it is always new material... perhaps you can test by using some generated text from this site?

    it'll generate one paragraph and you might need to paste it twice or more into your news reader to generate a paragraph long enough to trigger the bug when you send it to your news server... at least, my understanding is that JM is using your news server with his thunderbird... i've not counted the actual characters but that could be done to determine the buffer length when this happens...

    I'm not running a news server just html via web browser login. It's strange this has just started. Will copy and paste from your suggested link.
