    chuckle when say Colombo comes across something cutting edge (c.
    1970-90) and has to be told how something works.
    "What is that machine on the table?"
    It's a personal computer.
    "You mean like those big room size machines that crunch numbers?"
    Yes, you can use it for data processing....
    "You mean like a typewriter? Where do you put the paper?"
    You don't need paper, you write whatever and send it over the phone
    wire to another computer.
    "How does that work?"
    And so on. :)

    Knowing Colombo, half of that would have been to draw more info out of
    them... one always got the feeling that he knew a lot more than he was
    letting on.... :)

    I also figure 20 years from now people will get a chuckle out of our current cutting age technology and how primitive it was.

    Quite likely.... and we'll be the ones trying to figure out that new
    tech that's replacing what we knew about.... <G>
