It reminds me of a deal at one of the Clive Cussler Collectors
Society Conventions several years ago, that my Mom and I attended.
Wayne Valero, the president of the organization, was mostly out
in front with things. Bruce Canfield worked behind the scenes.

Well, they gave Wayne and Bruce thank you cards. Wayne complained
"Bruce's card is bigger", and one of the folks yelled out "Size does
matter!!". It brought the house down in laughter. <G>

Sadly, Bruce is the only one left that I know of. Wayne passed
away from a rare brain illness in 2012...my Mom died in August, 2019,
and Clive Cussler passed away 6 months later.

In all the years I've been associated with Memories, (28 years) I don't recall anyone being asked to leave. AT least not publicity. (No idea about behind the scenes).
Since I became mod I've never have kicked anyone out.
Usually a general reminder was that was needed.
I've been having problems with Doc's accepting my boiler plate monthly
rules update. It was working fine for a long time then suddenly got a message something was wrong with the formatting. Its in Word, so that may be part

You're like Sean Dennis, who rules Micronet with an iron fist. :) But, seriously, you will throw someone out if they become too disruptive. Of
course, a bunch of repentant groveling and sniveling by the offender
    might help. <G>

Grinning is a dead canary giveaway (pun intended). I find the

While reading this message, I thought about Amos and Andy.
I'm old enough to remember hearing them on the Radio when I was a child.

Also remember listening to The Green Hornet, Buz Sawyer and a show about
some Pilots who flew airplanes in a squadron called "The Flying Tigers".

When our home got a Television Set I remember watching:

Captain Video, Kukla Fran and Ollie, Howdy Doody, Milton Berle(sp?),
and a Lady Singer who I can't recall her name.

Remembering those old shows brings grins to my face.

I like trying to get Grins from salespeople while I'm shopping in a store.

    I will say things like:

"Thank You for helping me, it proves I'm not so far gone to be helped."

Because everyone has to wear masks in public the only way to tell if
I made the person grin is to look at their eyes and eyebrows to see if
I put a smile on their face.

Being on old time radio buff I have many of their shows on CD's, along
with thousands of other old radio shows.

Captain Video, Kukla Fran and Ollie, Howdy Doody, Milton Berle(sp?),
and a Lady Singer who I can't recall her name.

Don't recall Capt Video, since on DuMont and we didn't have that network
or who the singing lady was but did have the other shows.
We didn't have Sid Ceasar's show but a local show instead.
Our first station was WSAZ, NBC, ch 3, that went on the air in late 1949. Then came WCHS, ch 8 (Charleston), CBS, c. 1951. WHTN (now WOWK) Ch 13 was
ABC and came along around 1956.
(WCHS and WOWK switched networks a couple of times over the years, but
    WSAZ was always NBC)

I like trying to get Grins from salespeople while I'm shopping in a store.

Often in a restaurant the server will say "My name is Mary/John, I'll be
your server". I reply "My name is Joe, I'll be your customer".

Because everyone has to wear masks in public the only way to tell if
I made the person grin is to look at their eyes and eyebrows to see if

    Ain't that the truth!
I will sometimes wave my hand over my mask, point to mine then theirs and give a thumbs up at times as sort of secret code. People will be wearing a
"I hate this dumb mask", "I don't like being muzzled", etc printed on their masks.
