    I find that today's quality disposable blades are pretty good
    even without using shaving cream. For that to work (without
    pain or blood) I'm talking about a very short beard that may
    only be 12 or 18 hours since the last shave.

    I find that today's quality disposable blades are pretty good

    I hate shaving with a passion. What's worse is when certain areas
    of the body are shaved before surgery (bacteria love to hide in
    the hair), when it starts growing back, it itches like mad.

    I heard of a woman who had dyed her pubic hair green (ick!), and
    had signs on her abdomen and groin, that noted "Keep Off The Grass".

    Well, she had to be rushed in for an emergency appendectomy, and
    of course, they had to shave the pubic area. One of the nurses, with
    a wicked sense of humor, noted on her chat "Sorry...had to mow the
    lawn". <G>
