If I'm on the road, I tend to not stop until my final destination
of the day... and then take the time to find something decent... In
the case of going up to our camp, we have an interim destination
already in mind for supper... ;) Sometimes we head there directly,
sometimes we unload at the camp first and then go out...

How far is the trip? We sometimes go to Shreveport (about 4 hrs) with
the parents, sister, niece and wife. We can't get there without at
least 3 stops for bathroom breaks.

With that assortment, I guess I can understand the stops... ;)

It's just under 4 hours from home to camp with no stops... It used to
take more like 5 straight, more if with stops... back then, we used to
bring the cats, and they needed a stop somewhere... so for a while we
used to stop about halfway and get a meal... I travel better without
stops, though, so as long as there's nobody riding with me that needs to
stop, I just don't... :)
