Hate to interrupt this riot of activity. ;)

    -----------------------

Anyways...what's up with the Catholic Church?

    They "Compiled the Bible" sure,
but they (the Romans) are the ones that killed Jesus!

    No graven images? Really?

And Jesus sure likes him some Gold Temples, yo!

    Just a thought.

(MY "HIDDEN MESSAGE" FOR YOU REPUBLICONS IS...CATHOLICISM IS A CULT!)

I used to be on HolySmokes! circa 1992, it was incredible how busy it
was. Of course most of it was classic re-hashed logical fallacies and
a few mentally ill folks spamming the echo with random biblical quotes "proving" whatever. There were two guys that took the cake, trying to
remember their names. Ron Stringfellow? Something Long?

Then the arguments went to alt.atheism. Now I see it on /r/atheism. De-conversion still continues though...

I believe I missed you by this much (holding two fingers together, somehow approximating time)

I had a good couple of years on here when people "could talk".
The wondrous days of no moderation!
And "we" actually made progress. I'd hope.

But then there was the guy that believed that souls are store on Saturn.

Hey! I thought _I_ took the Cake!

Enemies might say I took the cock.

Then the arguments went to alt.atheism.

Newsgroups is just "clumsy" for me.
And, after a while I started to have community with these fucks.
    Then came power trips.

Now I see it on /r/atheism.
    De-conversion still continues though...

    Satan happens.

And, by that, I mean good evil happens more than bad evil.

I'm trying to get in cotact with Frank Ernest (who was neither Frank nor Ernest) who participated back in the day in thie secho. I think Ron Stringfellow also was a caller to my board. I know that in the 1990's Holysmoke was the echo that got the most traffic on my system.
