I don't want to buy a CRT for many reasons. So I am stuck with composite, VGA, and HDMI led monitors.
Is there any way to get high quality 80 columns from a C128 into those types of monitors?
What is the recommended way to get the best video quality from C128 into those monitors?
I use the VICE emulator to emulate some of the Commodore 8bit family
computers on a modern Linux PC connected via HDMI, including the
C128. Just tested: The resolution doesn't changes. But looks like a C128.
Starting DOSBOX, there the resolution switches to 640x480 (the display
reports so). Suppose I could also tell VICE to run in 640x480...
