In my eyes, the far-right Charlie Kirk was primarily an entertainer. He used tricks and a smooth talk to spread far-right ideas, and if you debated him, he had his tricks and ways to wriggle out of almost any awkward situation.
Distractions, lies, accusations, and simply not answering.
In my eyes, it was primarily a clown show.
Time and again, he lost the debates he had on the merits, but the show must go on, and then you simply lie about it afterward. You couldn't touch him. He simply couldn't be humiliated. After all, he had no morals. There was nothing that could bring him down any further.
His followers loved everything; his debate opponents mainly saw him as a clown.
It was all too transparent for his political opponents.
The Russians used his rhetoric in their attempts to swing the 2016 American election in Trump's favor. Charlie was never mentioned in the scheme where Russia paid influencers heavily to spew Russian propaganda.
Some of his close friends and colleagues were caught cold in this act. Think of Tim Pool, Dave Rubin, and Benny Johnson.
Charlie Kirk was a strong supporter of the Second Amendment. That's the right for citizens to bear firearms.
When asked in the past how he felt about victims of gun violence, his response was that death was simply the price of that God-given freedom. He couldn't really care if it involved someone else.
I think it's completely wrong that he was murdered. Freedom of speech is a great asset. He used and abused that freedom, and that's okay. He shouldn't have been murdered. That's truly wrong.
But that he died by a firearm... Well, that's the price of the Second Amendment, in his own words. Karma is a bitch. He didn't mind if others died by gun violence. Now he's become a victim himself. Then you wonder... If he had known that beforehand, how would he have felt about it?

Guns don't kill people, it's the coward on the other end that pulls
the trigger...

An entertainer that used tricks to fool his debatees? I watched him
daily and was very intriqued with his conversations and come-backs. I
will miss him. If you feel it was errrr ok that he was shot, you are
the problem with this world.

Really! You sound so compassionite. Is this all you can say about
his assination? He had a wife and two children and you say "Karma
is a bitch" Sounds to me like you don't care if "others" kill
murdered or at least conservatives.
Moving my reply to a more appropriate echo...
